A little of his life ....
The Mozart family's living room
According to Constanze, Mozart's spouse, he composed the Magic Flute, La Clemenza di Tito, the Requiem and one Freemasons Cantata (he was a freemason) on this instrument.
During the second half of the 18th century it was common for the instruments in Germany to have a range of five octaves with dark naturals made of ebony and light sharps covered with ivory.

In 1747 Leopold Mozart married Anna Maria Pertl and moved to the third floor of this building, in the center of the city of Salzbourg in Austria. The Mozart family lived for 26 years in the third floor apartment consisting of a kitchen, small cabinet, living room, bedroom (birth room) and study.
Here their seven children were born which only two of them survived the childhood; Maria Anna Walburga "Nannerl" born in 1751 and Wolfgang Amadeus born in 1756.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 in this room. He lived here until 1773, when he was 17 years old.
